Dear Thames Valley District School Board educator or Community member,
A student at your school, or in your community, is interested in taking part in our new program where they will earn four of their credits at our London Environmental Education Centre.
The project integrates Civics, Careers, English, Phys Ed and Science to build leadership qualities and provide students with opportunities to contribute to their community. Please have a look around this website to learn more about the course.
We are very interested in selecting a limited number of students who represent the diversity that makes the Thames Valley District School Board such a wonderful place to learn from one another. As part of the application process, students must obtain a reference letter from a current teacher (Guidance Counselor, Vice Principal or Principal are also acceptable) as well as another caring adult that is not a parent (former teacher, music teacher, coach, family friend, etc).
Please use this link to upload your reference letter.
If you could, please provide the student with a reference letter before this date.
If you have any questions, please contact Ryan Dunne (r.dunne@tvdsb.ca), Learning Coordinator for Science (and Technology), Environmental Education & Experiential Learning.
