Phase 3 Priorities:
This phase will begin upon completion of the Community Center building. All physical education activities will be moved to the new facility so that the current gym spaces at the High School and Middle School can be captured and repurposed for academic programming.

Repurpose the former main gymnasium and locker room into a central student dining commons and kitchen
By relocating the dining and kitchen functions to the former main gymnasium, the current kitchen and cafeteria can be repurposed to support the High School performing arts programs including new band, orchestra, and choral rooms with associated practice rooms and storage
Repurpose the current music areas surrounding the auditorium for additional music support rooms
Repurpose the former physical education spaces and industrial arts/tech ed areas to STEAM learning environments including tech ed, art, and family consumer science
Centrally locate the Media Center adjacent to the proposed dining commons and repurpose existing library area for other programs
Renovate the auditorium, including rigging, lighting, seating and backstage areas.
Modernize science labs that have not been updated since the 1950s.
Repurpose the former gym and locker rooms into a central student commons that will serve as a Media Center and STEAM rooms.
Updates to the administration, guidance and nurses areas
Construct a central and secure entrance to the building.
Cluster the specials programs including art and family consumer science on the first floor
Repurpose the former industrial arts areas for band and choral, and the former LGI to orchestra, to cluster the music programs together and provide adequately sized rooms for the program
Provide handicapped accessibility to the entire second floor
Modernize science labs that have not been updated since the 1950s.
