Getting to Know Ms. Davis
Hi there! I'm Ms. Davis and I am the School Counselor at Brecknock Elementary School. I am entering my 5th year as a School Counselor and my 5th year at Governor Mifflin School District! I graduated from Penn State University in 2015 with my B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. I then received my Master's of Education in K-12 School Counseling in 2017 from West Chester University. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and also have my Specialist Certification in Trauma and Crisis. I am currently in the process of obtaining my Specialist Certification in Anxiety and Stress Management.
Some of my favorite children's authors include Julia Cook, Trudy Ludwig, and Kevin Henkes. Outside of school, my favorite things to do are spend time with my partner and our dog, Nala. I enjoy yoga, reading, baking, puzzles, coffee/tea, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and being outside. Not to mention I am a huge Harry Potter fan!
