Mandated Reporting

Reporting Suspected Child Abuse or Neglect:

By law professionals having knowledge or reasonable cause to suspect that a child is abused or neglected must make a report of the circumstances. Professionals include administrators, teachers, counselors, social workers, and any childcare worker. A person mandated to report, or any person wanting to report suspected child abuse or neglect, should call 1-833-958-3500, North Dakota's toll-free Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Line. Reports of suspected abuse or neglect may be done verbally or in writing. SFN 960 Form.  If it's an EMERGENCY and a child is in immediate DANGER, CALL 9-1-1.
