If you haven't already, please contact wholesale@gofarm.org to see when you can initiate onboarding.
We require all of our producers** to meet some basic requirements before we can begin purchasing from them. Our onboarding process is as follows:
Producers must have attended FSMA/Produce Safety Rule Grower Training and received certification before onboarding or within the end of the calendar year that they begin selling to GoFarm.
Producers must submit a written food safety plan to be approved.
Meet and agree to GoFarm’s general requirements and production standards. To do this:
Download the GoFarm Producer Buying Rubric (requirements to sell to GoFarm) and the Producer Agreement document as any file type you prefer.
Using Preview, Acrobat, Word, or Google Docs, you can open these files and electronically fill out/sign them.
Please email signed copies to wholesale@gofarm.org.
GoFarm must complete an on-site visit to the producer's farm/facility.
**By supplying GoFarm, you are allowing us to promote your organization (in social media, emails, website, etc) as a GoFarm producer.
As a producer, you choose how often you participate, what you make available to GoFarm each week, and at what price. Average annual prices paid for items (data weighted by volume purchased) are listed on our interactive produce quality standards database.
We do our best to buy something from every farm that provides produce each week, but can not guarantee that we will purchase all of what you make available.
GoFarm reserves the right to refuse to purchase items for any reason (consistently low quality, more expensive than we can afford, do not meet our growing standards, etc).
It’s the producer’s responsibility to let us know right away if there is something on your availability/order that you can no longer supply, or if there is a quality control issue with an item.
