An evolution of my beliefs about teaching and where I fit in the world of education.
As an educator, I would create a classroom environment that encourages learning by promoting an exchange of information (& ideas) about the past and its connection to the world around us.
Social studies education requires a great deal of dialogue and can be very intriguing if classroom participation and the quality of content are high. Prioritizing my delivery methods by adapting to student interests will increase productivity and overall experience. I have a passion for teaching and hope to spread my knowledge of history, political science, and geography with generations to come.
