Grew up in a small town in Ontario (old school Bruins fans may have heard of Parry Sound ;), ...worked out west in the mountains (Lake O'Hara and Whistler), ...came to Nova Scotia to go to university (Acadia Rugby Rocks!), …went home to Ontario to do my teacher education, ...came back to Nova Scotia, ...and have made it my home!
I like to play (occassionally coach) and watch a variety of sports (still trying to show up for soccer and hockey, but this post-50 body isn't what it used to be).
I enjoy being outside, travelling and working around the yard at home (Thanks to my rural roots, ...shovelling gravel and cutting wood are skills I still carry and practice).
I have been married to an HRM Fire Fighter for the last 22 years, and we have a well loved (okay ,...spoiled) little Labrador Husky (he's a Goose Bay special!) who is the center of our world.
(That's actually the Grand Canyon! ⬇️ Who knows where you'll go.)
I am Spry Proud, ...and I have the key chain!
(Circa 2001??? ;)
I am excited to be a part of this new building, and its community!
