Friday Night Keynote:

Designing Sustainable Innovation: SAMR, the EdTech Quintet, and Shared Practices

New tools allow for the integration of deep learning objectives and accessibility goals in ways never possible before. This process requires an ongoing evolution of teaching approaches, across all age groups and subject areas. We will see how SAMR and the EdTech Quintet can be used to define a set of core shared practices that can both scaffold and promote this process, making transformative goals available to all.

Ruben's Bio:

Dr. Ruben Puentedura is the Founder and President of Hippasus, a consulting firm based in Western Massachusetts, focusing on transformative applications of information technologies to education. He has implemented these approaches for over thirty years at a range of K-20 educational institutions, as well as health and arts organizations.
