NGES is located in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People.
We are so pleased to welcome both new and returning students and their families to our school community and to our website.
This site is designed to support student learning and strengthen the partnership between home and school. Our hope is that it will make it easier for families to stay informed and involved in school life.
At NGES, our students are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing the best possible education in a welcoming, fair, and supportive environment—where high expectations are shared, and everyone works together for the success of all.
We believe that strong family support is essential to student success. Education is a shared journey, and students thrive when families feel informed, involved, and connected.
We hope you find the information on our website helpful. If you have ideas or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you. Students can share ideas through their teacher, and families are welcome to email us at nges@ssrce.ca.
Happy learning, and welcome again to a great year at NGES!
