Information for students about At Home PE
Hi there!
Being active is super important for helping your body to be at it's best:
it improves your fitness,
makes your bones, muscles and heart stronger,
helps you to feel more calm and relaxed,
improves your concentration on your schoolwork
helps you to sleep better!
That's a long list of reasons to make sure you do something active each and every day! I encourage you to try to do something active every day. Ideally, also try to spend some time outdoors every day. The fresh air and sunshine are good for your body and your mind!
For at home PE, join me for a Google Meet twice a week (see the schedule on the Google Meet page.) There are lots of extra activities you could try on the Activities page to give you some more ideas for being active. Please remind your grown up to check out the Grown Ups page.
Safety first: Whenever you're going to try out a game or activity, run it by your parent or guardian first. All of the activities are designed to be completed alone or can be done with people you live with. Please don't gather with friends to do them. Unfortunately, now is not the best time for that.
Alright, dive in! Let's move! Head on over to the Activities page for your grade level to see what's there for you! (Click on the arrow beside More to access the class activity pages)
