Trip Information:

Information about class trips will be added to this section of the webpage as they are scheduled.

• October 7 - Lazer Tag

  • Team building and fun game setting

  • Happening at the school from 9 am - 11:00

  • Come prepared to participate and have fun

  • Sneakers should be worn as this is in the gym

• October  9th - Michelin Plant and Academy

  • Tour of the Michelin plant and academy in Granton 

  • Class presentation and tour of plant

  • Steel toe boots required (will be supplied if needed)

  • Lunch: Tims / Dairy Queen in Westville 

• October 16 - NSCC

  • Pictou Location - tour of the NSCC location and classrooms with booths set up for students to interact with and ask quesitons about programs

  • Students will receive a code that allows for completition of free application to NSCC

  • Lunch: Tims / Wendy's New Glasgow

• October 26 - Toromont Cat

  • Tour of the Heavy Duty Mechanic Shop plus classroom instruction on working at Toromont Cat

  • Wear steel toed boots and warm clothing as tour takes you outside ((Steel toes will be provided if needed)

  • Lunch: Tims / McDonalds, Dartmouth Crossing

• Novemeber 2 - IMP Aerospace and Academy

  • Tour of IMP hangers and academy

  • Steel toe boots required (will be supplied if needed)

  • Lunch is provided from IMP (pizza)

• November 13 - Irving Ship Yard

  • Tour of the assemboly hall

  • Steel toed boats required and warm clothing as this takes you outside (Steel toes will be provided if needed)

  • Lunch: Tims / McDonalds, Dartmouth Crossing

• December 11 - First Aid Training

  • All day here at the school - due to the length of the training, lunch will be shortened

  • Students will receive Basic First Aid Training Certificate

  • Pizza lunch is provided

• December 16 - Trades Hall

  • Interactive workshops with trade personal - 20 minute states at 10 various booths with hands on learning for each trade example

  • Steel toed boats required and warm clothing as this location can be colder (Steel toes will be provided if needed)

  • Lunch will be pizza and provided on site. Bring snacks and drinks

Permission forms have been sent home - please review, sign and return. If dates have to change new forms will be sent home. Various in class presentations are also being scheduled.
