About

I have lived in Dartmouth for most of my life, having myself graduated from Prince Andrew High School in 1999. There are so many fond memories of my times at this school that I am thrilled to be able to be a part of the faculty that makes this school so special. Before teaching I worked a variety of jobs and careers.

As a teacher, I believe in collaboration, open dialogue and taking risks in order to grow as learners and as people. I also see incredible significance in the integration of technology into our education system and believe that feedback is essential to growth. My passion is in film and media. This website will hopefully provide a brief intro to the courses I teach. If you have any specific questions about anything you see here please feel free to reach out to me.

You will quickly learn that I am a big, and proud, geek. I love science fiction, super heroes, fantasy and pretty much everything connected to them. At home, I love to indulge in board games and video games and am a movie nut. For fun I help to run a not-for-profit film society where I have acted as Director, Cinematographer, Writer and Editor and I have worked closely with a number of local theatre groups on various projects. In addition, I have worked on various live events including concerts, musicals, TED Talks, etc and enjoy the challenges of audio/video work.
