The purpose of these guidelines is to assist those breakfast programs that are located in nontraditional facilities and are classified as “not for profit”. The intent is to put into place the proper food handling control measures and thereby reduce the risk of any food borne illnesses.
Breakfast program volunteers are required to review and follow food safety guidelines. Short videos are available to review here. Even with limited time and equipment we can serve nutritious and delicious breakfast items. Each menu option contains a vegetable or fruit, whole grain and protein source making it a complete meal for students.
