About Us

 Located in the beautiful Village of Chester, Nova Scotia, close to the coast of Mahone Bay, we are home to about 300 students in grades 5 to 8, and approximately 30 staff. We embrace a middle school philosophy, which includes:

• The needs of students at the middle level are unique

• Relationships are central to student learning and well-being

• Students learn best by doing

• Everything we do is connected

• We are student-centered, not subject-centered

• We are flexible in our approach
