To Schedule a Meeting:

Log in to your Chrome browser with your gnspes account

Click the waffle icon and choose Google Calendar .

Pick a date, create a title, add time, and add Conferencing. Click the small down arrow to show the details of the Meet--copy and paste the details into an email (see notes 1 & 2 below for alternative methods)

Note: There are a few different ways to set up the meeting. For instance, instead of copy and pasting the meeting details into an email that you compose, you could add the email addresses of the participants directly into ‘Add Guests’ and an email automatically is generated and sent to them.

To Join the Meeting:

At the scheduled time, to join the Hangouts Meet, click the link either in your email or calendar and then the button.

You can also access Google Meet directly in your waffle to join or start a meeting and to see your scheduled meetings.

Caution--If using your phone: There is an option for participants to call into the meeting from their phone instead of choosing the video chat. Long-distance charges could apply since it is a US number. However, the phone call is free if the call is initiated from the Google Meet to the participant.

Two options:

1. The participant can click the link in the email and choose 'Join and use phone for audio', then enter their phone number. See pics below. More information here.

2. The meeting's organizer can call a participant directly from the online meeting by adding in the participants phone number.
