When is this course taught? AP English literature will be delivered asynchronously. On Mondays the plan for the week's work will be uploaded, including a short lecture on the skill we will be focusing on. There will be self-directed reading and assignments related to the skill. Office hours will be scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays for 20 minute time blocks and students will be required to attend several individual appointments throughout the school year to review feedback on writing tasks. These appointments will be scheduled with the students on a case by case basis. There will be interactive discussion posts through Google Classroom 'questions' and the flip app. There will also be collaborative work on padlet and jamboard.
Suggested Prerequisites: It is suggested that students complete Eng 11 or Eng 11 ADV before taking the AP English Literature and Composition course.
Course Activities: Periodically students may participate in special tutorials and field trips associated with this course. Activity dates are set in consultation with the enrolled students.
