AVRCE’s Parent Navigator helps both families and schools find information, programs and services. The Parent Navigator is a “connector” between your family, the school and community supports.
They are here to help guide your family to services in education, justice, health, recreation, community services and more. They are available throughout the school year, and during the summer when schools are closed.
By working closely with your family, schools, SchoolsPlus and community agencies, the Parent Navigator can offer:
General information on programs available in AVRCE and surrounding communities
Information on processes to access support
Knowledge on how to apply for programs, and help with application forms
Contact information for services and supports
Other help as needed to overcome barriers you may face in accessing supports.
Contact Parent Navigator Tammy Ring by calling 902-844-2816 or emailing parent.navigator@avrce.ca.
