I'm presently employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. My primary research focus lies in comprehending the involvement of various brain cells in age-related neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's. With over ten years of research experience and six years of teaching experience, I received a Ph.D. degree in Molecular Neuroscience from the esteemed institute, PGIMER, Chandigarh. I have also received prestigious fellowships and grants from renowned funding agencies like DBT, DST, ICMR, CSIR, UGC, and others. Prior to joining Guru Nanak Dev University, I worked as an Assistant Professor at NIPER-Ahmedabad, an institute of national significance, where I gained valuable teaching and research expertise. To date, I have published 38 peer-reviewed articles in reputable journals and have authored two book chapters published by international publishers. Currently, our lab is actively engaged in major research projects funded by the Government of India.
