KITTY HAWK HONOR SOCIETY

Kitty Hawk Honor Society is an AFJROTC honor society and has chapters all over the world. Its purpose is to promote academic excellence and community service. Our chapter's requirements for induction include a 3.0 GPA, instructor approval, no failing grades, no behavior problems, and an A in AFJROTC.  Additionally, all Kitty Hawk Air Society members will complete three Kitty Hawk sponsored community service events each year.

At the beginning of each semester, invitations are sent to qualifying cadets. Freshmen are not eligible until the beginning of their second semester.  Eligible cadets are highly encouraged to become an active member of Kitty Hawk Air Society. Membership sets cadets apart from their peers and definitely looks good on college and scholarship applications.

Finally, active Kitty Hawk Air Society members receive a silver honor society cord to wear at their graduation ceremony.
