Howard Bishop Middle School was selected as one of 10 middle schools in the state selected to take part in Workforce Florida Inc.’s Phase II Middle School CAPE IT Career Academy Technical Assistance Demonstration Project.

As a participant, Howard Bishop MS will receive technical assistance from one of the leading youth talent development companies in the country, The Whetstone Group, along with technology products and services valued at $30,000+ to assist in the establishment of a CAPE IT Career Academy and official Certification Testing Center.

This program provides Howard Bishop Middle School students with a unique opportunity to gain a globally recognized industry credential that will validate their skills and abilities in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite applications software. The program began in Fall, 2013.
