Learning a foreign language broadens a child's worldview, stimulates different parts of the brain and enhances complex problem-solving skills.  Our Spanish classroom fosters these benefits through a diverse array of activities that meet varied learning needs and deepen understanding of the language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries.  With the option of receiving high school foreign language credit, our course focuses on fluency and accuracy in listening, reading, writing and speaking skills, and in making connections to other disciplines and arts.  Students are encouraged to experiment with the process of learning, and guided to discover how language works.
