Hi! My name is Karen Magruder and I have honed my thirty plus years of teaching experience to teach gifted students in the Alachua County Schools for the last ten years. At Howard Bishop the Gifted Language Arts class is a rich blending of all subject areas. We read historical novels, create tech related mini-projects, write essays debating current issues in history and science, and refine our academic vocabulary. I look forward to working with your child as we explore a wide range of literary experiences.
