Dear Students and Parents,
Welcome to the 2023-24 school year. Hopefully, everyone had a restful holiday and had the opportunity to enjoy time with family and friends. As we prepare for the start of the school year, we will focus on establishing positive habits and routines to build a solid foundation of success for our students. In fact, our preparation has already started as we spent this week providing training and induction sessions for our new faculty members joining Global Jaya this year. By preparing our teachers to implement best practices in the classroom, everyone will be ready to support the learning and social needs of the students once they arrive on campus.
On Monday, August 7th, we look forward to seeing all of our students, new and returning, as they join us for the first day of school. Secondary students will take part in an orientation day focused on teamwork, developing positive relationships, building habits and routines, while also remembering that school is a happy and learning focused place.
As for the logistics of the first day of school, please see below:
The West gate will open for students at 07:00.
Students will receive a brief introductory email from their Advisor next week, including Advisory class location and a general idea of what to expect from the first day.
Your teachers will likely begin contacting you next week via your school-issued Google account.
Schedules will be shared with students through Managebac by the end of next week.
If you are having trouble accessing your school Google account (@student.globaljaya.com), please contact Pak Zul (zulkahfi@globaljaya.com).
We look forward to welcoming you all to campus on Monday, 4 August! In the meantime, be safe, be happy, and be well.
