Tsundoku: A Treasure of Tales is a writing contest that gives all GIIS students, especially to those who are bibliophiles and love to read and write stories, an amazing opportunity to be part of a wonderful treasury of imagination, innovation and creativity that go beyond geographical boundaries!
There are 3 categories in the contest based on 3 different age groups.
Word Limit
Language
Students can submit stories in ENGLISH.
Format
All short stories must be TYPED on a Google Doc as per the Story Submission Template.
Theme & Content
FREE theme. Students can write stories about any topic they want. However, all the submitted stories must be ORIGINAL CREATIONS and their content must follow the contest's RULES and REGULATIONS.
Pictures
COMPULSORY. All stories must include a picture on the cover of the story, on the very first page (as per the template).
OPTIONAL. Students can add pictures to their story only if they want to. It is not compulsory.
BE CAREFUL! You can use pictures only if (1) you or someone you know (friend, relative or teacher) have drawn them for you, or (2) the pictures from internet are copyright free/royalty free pictures. Add the links to the internet pictures at the end of your story. For more information about images downloaded from the internet please check out the contest's RULES and REGULATIONS.
