During this unit, students delved into the rich tapestry of cultures that shape our world, guided by the central idea. By understanding the diverse forms of cultural expression, students develop an appreciation for the richness and complexity of human culture and its role in shaping individual and collective identities. They explored the function of cultural understanding in fostering unity and respect among diverse communities. Students collaborated internationally, engaged in multicultural experiences, and participated in various projects to understand the rich diversity, which helped foster international mindedness. By being open-minded and engaging in reflective practices, they deepened their understanding of cultural expression and its impact on fostering respect and unity.  With this unit, our learners learn that in order to begin the work towards reducing inequality, it is important to develop understanding and respect among cultures and individuals first.

March 1, 2024- Discrimination Demolishers  @ PYP Exhibition

One of the IB PYP 5 Exhibition groups was on the issue of Discrimination.  Throughout their journey of exploration, they researched and found out more about the discrimination, the different types of discrimination and their effects on people, they identified several examples in real life and made the audience think of their responsibility in bringing in unity in diversity.
