🌿 A Green Start to the Academic Year at Green Oasis 🌿

The new academic session at Green Oasis began with enthusiasm, fresh beginnings, and a strong connection to nature. As students entered their new classrooms and settled into routines, they also engaged in meaningful environmental action by participating in planting and sowing activities.

This hands-on experience not only allowed our learners to explore the science behind plant growth but also nurtured values of responsibility, patience, and care for the environment. It was heartwarming to see young hands working with soil, carefully planting seeds, and learning how to care for living things.

These activities marked a wonderful start to the year—reminding us that just like seeds, every learner has the potential to grow and flourish with the right care and environment.

Here’s to a year of learning, growing, and thriving—together!

Sowing Seeds

Today, we sowed different seeds in our garden. We look forward to harvesting tomatoes, okras, broccoli, beetroot, and oregano in the months to come.

Planet VS Plastics

In commemoration of Earth Day 2024, IB PYP students took to heart the theme of this year's celebration: Planet vs Plastics and decided to reuse, recycle and repurpose plastic bottles and cans and turn them into planters.  With the help of our gardener and workers, IB PYP students decorated and bottles and cans.  They had a very enriching experience as they planted herbs and now are to ensure that they grow at the PYP Green Oasis.
