What a beautiful morning to kick-off Biodiversity Week! Thrilled to see the "Green Wave" Tree Planting and Birthday Blooms projects come to life in our GMP and PYP "Green Oasis." These symbolic acts perfectly capture the importance of protecting our natural world. 🥰😍🥰😍
Green Wave is a worldwide biodiversity campaign that educates children and youths about the importance of protecting our natural environment. This year, GIIS East Coast partnered with NParks as we put our bit in keeping our City in Nature green and vibrant. We have been given by NParks 5 shrubs to plant within our school compound.
We also extended this initiative to align our monthly birthday planting which we call "Birthday Blooms" to happen on this day instead of the usual last Friday of the month practice.
