Circular Rewards
Putting the economy into circularity.
Every verified circular event generates trusted data and, where applicable, a financial return — through five pathways: resale, rental, redesign, reuse, repair.
Circular Design Reward
Downstream business → Brand. Triggered by a verified resale, rental, reuse or redesign event. (Repair doesn't trigger this — it's a direct transaction between repairer and consumer.)
EPR Reward
Brand → downstream provider. Applies to all five pathways, including repair. Funds the transport and logistics of diverting by-product resources to sorters and recyclers. Repairers scan for free as their service to brands, and can separately opt in to a Diversion Reward for their own scrap.
Diversion Data
Bulk-scan consolidates textile and chemical data plus batch weight onto one new RFID tag per batch. The sorter/recycler's scan on receipt is the verified event that substantiates the EPR Reward payment.
This is a GCN initiative, not a government scheme — voluntary and complementary to your regulatory EPR obligations, not a replacement for them.
PUTTING THE ECONOMY INTO CIRCULARITY
Circular Rewards is a Global Circular Network initiative that will reward brands and their downstream network — resellers, rental businesses, redesigners, reuse organisations, sorters, recyclers, and repairers — for verified circular activity, tracked through RFID-enabled Digital Product Passports (DPPs).
It's built to reward brands for designing products for circularity from the outset, and to help fund the real costs of keeping material in circulation and out of landfill — a B2B-only system, separate from any government or regulatory EPR scheme.
We're currently building the Circular Rewards program and full details will be published here once that's in place.
