David Clark has been teaching bands for 25 years. He has been in the Glenwood School District the past 12 years. His responsibilities include directing the Varsity Marching Band, Jazz Band Black, Concert Band Gold, Pep Band, 8th and 6th grade band.
He is a graduate of Tongue River High School in Dayton, Wyoming. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska, Omaha and a Masters degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
Paul came to Glenwood from the Tri-Center School District where he taught for over 10 years. Paul is now in his 2nd year and his responsibilities include: Assistant Varsity Marching Band, Jazz Band Gold, Pep Band, Middle School Jazz Gold, HS "Black" band, 6th grade band and 5th grade recruitment.
He is a graduate of Riverside High School in Oakland, Iowa. He earned his undergraduate degree from Central College in Pella.
Elsa is now in her 3rd year as a member of the Glenwood Band Staff. Her responsibilities include: Assistant Varsity Marching Band, 7th Grade Band, Middle School Jazz Black and 6th grade band.
She is a graduate of Red Oak High School in Red Oak, Iowa. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
Pete Jacobus retired from teaching band in Glenwood after 27 years. He is currently the head director of the Glenwood Community Band. The community band is comprised of musicians of all skill levels from all over the Southwest Iowa area. The band performs 3 concerts each year for the Glenwood community.
