Hi, my name is Lauren Hertz and I'm a first grade teacher at Forest Avenue. I received my BA in Behavioral Science from Drew University before going to Fairleigh Dickinson for my teaching certificate and Masters of Education. This will be my 19th year teaching in Glen Ridge. Previously I've had the honor of teaching third and fourth grades at Ridgewood Avenue School, but I'm so excited to be a Forest Avenue Firefly! I currently live in Verona where I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughters, and friends. I love shopping, reading, exercising, the beach, trying new restaurants, and cooking. I love being able to share my passion for animals, technology, health and wellness, and having fun while learning with my students!
