NO. Athletes are expected to make a full commitment to the team. Academic help is generally the only acceptable conflict. If you're missing multiple practices each week, it's probably in your best interest to quit the team.

YES, we do everything together as a team. However, there are extenuating circumstances. If your child is being picked up early from a meet, please fill out the Alternate Transportation Form posted on our team site.
Please always refer to "Announcements" for the most up to date bus times. The "Team Schedule" also includes bus times, however these times are always subject to change.
Athletes can be held out of meets for a variety of reasons:
A lack of effort while completing a workout as noted by their times in workouts.
A pattern of not completing the entire workout on any given day.
A gradual return to practice from a recent illness or injury.
Athletes can only compete in two meets per week.
Athlete doesn't meet the qualifying standards.
Limited number of athletes allowed per event.
Attendance issues related to practice.
Did not show up on time for bus.
Coaches discretion/other.
Athletes must meet the Class S qualifying standard in one or more events.
Athletes may also score 5 team points in dual meets, or 7 team points if they compete in multiple events to earn varsity status. Those points must be earned against competitors from the opposing team. If nobody from "Team X" competes in the event, then your points don't count towards varsity status.
