What is Title I?

Title I is a federally funded program that is part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Its purpose is to close achievement gaps to ensure that all students receive a fair, equal education and learn at high levels. Educators, principals, and families work together to develop and review goals to guarantee that students achieve the rigorous standards set forth by our state. Title I provides services for students who need extra support to meet these standards.
