AB Nicholas Scholarship

The Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation seeks to make a college degree affordable for Wisconsin high school students who participate as players or managers in their school’s basketball program. Need-based scholarships, renewable annually, are offered for two- and four-year programs at any University of Wisconsin System school.

Trytten Scholarship

Qualifications:
Must attending UW Steven's Point and declaire a major in Chemistry or Bio Chemistry
Any student who has a cumulative GPA of 3.50 in high school (grades 9-12, not including the last semester of the senior year) is eligible to apply for a Trytten Scholarship. Each semester Trytten Scholars will receive credit against university fees as follows: $200 per semester during their first academic year, $400 per semester during their second year, $600 per semester in their third year, and $800 per semester in their fourth year. The Scholarship will continue each semester, provided that (a) the Trytten Scholar continues to be a declared major in chemistry or biochemistry at UWSP and (b) they earn at least a 3.00 GPA the previous semester, thereby maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00.

WI TIP Grant
Amount: $600- $1,800 up to 5 years
Qualifications:
Students must be attending at least part time.
Student must be a first-time freshman.
Student must meet on criterion of Group A based on financial need and one criterion from Group B based on nontraditional/disadvantaged circumstances.
The TIP grant can be renewed for up to ten semester of enrollment and must be used within six years of enrollment at a public, private or technical college or university in Wisconsin.

Mercile J. Lee Scholars Program
Four-year, full-tuition scholarship program for undergraduate students at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
The program offers a community to students who value scholarship, leadership and service. Scholars begin as freshmen and are selected for their demonstrated academic success in high school, the impact of their leadership skills or capacity to grow as a leader, commitment to service and civic engagement, and potential to excel in the university’s rigorous educational environment.
To be considered for the Mercile J. Lee Scholars Program, students should apply to UW–Madison by the university’s early action or regular decision deadline. Students are encouraged to complete their application for admission to UW by the early action deadline to ensure award notification by the end of January.
