GHS students participate in required core classes in which students will experience and develop ACP activities, such as job applications, resumes, essay writing for scholarships, and understanding how to manage budgets. In addition to these courses, students are provided a range of elective courses that will provide experiences to explore a variety of job avenues.
GHS students will have opportunities such as College Fair visits, Career Fairs, College Visits, Technical Schools Visits, Apprenticeship Seminars and Military visits which will assist students in the ACP process.
Students can complete up to two college visits or job shadows a school year and have their absence count as a school event. This process can avoid conflicts with sporting, extra curricular activities and truancy at Grantsburg High School. Students make complete the forms below to participate in this excemption.
