Community Art... Who we are and what we do

Our vision is to promote and increase the presence of the arts in the Gahanna community

The work is student led and student driven–the majority of projects are planned and implemented by students from conception to completion

Students in the Community Art class

A proud home to 2400+ students, Gahanna Lincoln High school is located east of Columbus in the heart of Gahanna, Ohio.

The GLHS Community Art class was created to enhance the educational experience for students interested in community outreach and arts advocacy.  This class is innovative and creative by design.  It offers authentic learning opportunities and was created to meet each student where they start and help them grow to their fullest potential.  Students in this class experience real-world applications of the arts and are empowered by their decisions in this student-led and student-driven 21st Century teaching and learning community.
