Herb n' Arts Fair

The Herb n’ Arts Fair was created by the members of the GLHS Community Art class to highlight the talents of our students and to showcase the Arts in the Gahanna District K-12. Our Fair was created by students, for students, featuring students. The name of the event is a play on Urban Arts Fair since the City of Gahanna is the Herb Capital of Ohio!

The Herb n’ Arts Fair was an all-day event, featuring six hours of stage performances by students, art creation stations, physical activities, food trucks, and more–all organized by the Community Art class.

The members of the GLHS Community Art class were responsible for fund-raising (all of the activities were provided FREE for our patrons due to the generosity of our donors!), creating publicity, documentation, communication, presentations, budgeting, ordering supplies, organizing volunteers, and all of the elements that go into creating a community-wide event. We focused on making an exciting event that could be enjoyed by everyone regardless of economic situation.

The Herb n' Arts Fair has recently been replaced by the annual Arty Party!
