We are currently studying the mental act of Judgement and its verbal expression of Proposition. This takes our understanding of things to the next level where we will learn the elements of a proposition, the logical form of a sentence, the four statements of logic, the rules of contradiction, the laws of opposition, subcontraries and subalterns, the distribution of terms, and obversion, conversion, and contraposition. This will set us up for learning about the final mental act of Deductive Inference and how to construct logical and sound arguments.
