The 2024-2025 school year is Miss Willems first year in the district and as a school librarian! Prior to being a Librarian, she has been a book editor, grant writer, and worked at a makerspace. She is passionate about literature, the discovery of research, and working with children to find their own strengths. When she's not in the library, you can find her sewing, baking a pie, hiking in the woods, or curling up with a cat and a good book.

The mission of the ACEC Library is to create a safe and welcoming learning environment that sparks joy, curiosity, and creativity for all students! We build community through collaboration. We empower students through inquiry and critical thinking. 

We celebrate diversity, inclusion, and intellectual freedom. We nurture a love of reading by curating a collection that offers windows into  diverse perspectives and mirrors into our lives.
