Welcome to Te Whanau o Te Moananui a Kiwa one of two bilingual units at Gisborne Intermediate.

This is the site of "Te Whanau o Te Moananui a Kiwa" or "Te Whanau a Kiwa" or "Kiwa" for short. We are also known as Learning Hub 5 (LH5). We are an independent single-cell learning hub that prides itself on being a dual language learning incubator that provides learning opportunities in both English and Te Reo Maori that are infused with tikanga Maori.
