Incorporated Organisation responsible for organising the Italian Classes for children that are taking place on Saturday morning at the Broughton High School in Edinburgh, in Glasgow at the Cleveden High School, in Aberdeen at the Aberdeen Grammar School and now also online.
By promoting the Italian language in Edinburgh, Glasgow and online we would like to help not only the children with Italian heritage but all the children interested in the Italian language and culture. Learning a language broadens horizons and enhances life experiences.
As charitable organization for the community we charge students to enroll in the classes and we also receive funding from the MAECI (Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale).
Girotondo Italian School is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are:
the advancement of education through the provision of Italian language classes; and
to advance the education of the public attending Girotondo Italian School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school; and
the advancement of Italian heritage and culture through language classes which also incorporate learning about Italian traditions.
