Girotondo Italian School is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO n. SC049175) responsible for organising Italian Classes for children that have an Italian heritage, are Italian mother tongue or are simply interested in Italian language and culture.
We are the only Italian school in Scotland and Northern Ireland officially recognised and funded by Italy's "Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale (MAECI)" and working in collaboration with the Italian Consulate of Scotland and Northern Ireland in Edinburgh. We are doing two main activities, extra-curriculum Italian Classes on Saturday mornings and Italian classes as part of the curriculum of some Scottish primary schools in Glasgow.
We are now well established and we are currently running 8 classes in Edinburgh, 5 in Glasgow, 2 in Aberdeen and 1 online for a total of more than 160 children aged between 5 and 17.
Primary: P1 to P7
Secondary: S1 to S6, and SQA preparation Nat 5, Higher, Advanced Higher

Curriculum Classes in 2024/25 have been held successfully by Girotondo Italian teachers in collaboration with public schools in Glasgow at: Hillhead Primary School and St Patrick Primary School.
