In this module, we’re going to turn Google Drive from a cluttered filing cabinet into a searchable, intelligent library. You’ll learn how to use Gemini to find exactly what you need in seconds, extract data from documents without even opening them, and keep your sharing permissions from becoming a security nightmare.

Lesson 1

Stop Searching, Start Finding (Natural Language Search)

The Focus: Moving past simple file names.
The Skill: Using Gemini to search by intent and content. Instead of "Search: Lesson_Plan_V2," users will learn to ask: "Find that PDF about the 8th-grade solar system project I edited last spring." Gemini looks inside the files to find the match.

The "Instant Insight" Technique (File Interrogation)

The Focus: Saving time on reading and data entry.
The Skill: Using the Gemini side panel to "talk" to your documents. Staff can click on a massive 50-page curriculum guide and ask Gemini: "Create a 5-bullet point summary of the grading policy in this folder" or "What are the key dates mentioned in this spreadsheet?"

Lesson 3

Cross-File Synthesis & Batch Evaluation
The Focus: Intelligence across many documents simultaneously.
The Skill: Using AI to act as a "Global Auditor" for your Drive. Instead of opening ten separate files to find commonalities, you can treat an entire folder as a single dataset. You’ll learn to use Gemini to identify patterns, summarize collective data, and generate individualized responses (like a feedback table) based on an analysis of multiple sources at once.
