• Statehood brought growth and change to Arizona

• Our state continues to change today.

Students will focus on how the thirteen colonies came together to declare independence from Britian, the major events of the war itself and the transition from war to the beginnings on a new nation.

Students will look at Medieval Times in Europe, the prevalence of Feudalism, the power of the Church and more.  They will end the unit with some creative opportunities to show what they have learned.
