The Arizona Educational Foundation (AEF) has identified and honored exemplary pre-kindergarten through 12th grade public schools in Arizona since 1983. The A+ School of Excellence® Award is the highest state-level recognition an Arizona public school may receive. This year Mesquite Elementary along with 20 other K-12 public schools across Arizona received this recognition. This is a huge honor considering there are more than 5,000 public and private PK-12 schools in the state.
Breakfast and lunch are available for students each day. Access the breakfast and lunch menu.
This is a friendly reminder that fidgets are meant to be items to help students who need them focus. However, sometimes they can become a distraction. This distraction may not just impact the student who brought the item but may also impact those around him/her. If you have a medical need to bring a fidget to the classroom, please let the teachers know and use the item appropriately so it is not a distraction to you or others. Otherwise, we request these items be left at home to minimize distractions in the classroom. Our academic day is already condensed and we need to use our time wisely.
