REMINDER: When a student is reassigned to another campus, they are not allowed on any campus other than the one they are assigned to. 

• Please be sure to return all textbooks and Chromebooks to the original campus.

• We will process the paperwork for all reassignments for you.  If you have any questions about your new school, all phone numbers are available on the GPS website.

• Any enrollments with Canyon Valley and Global Academy will require a meeting before starting. Please call the following:

• If your student is being reassigned to Canyon Valley School and you live in the GPS boundaries, transportation will be provided.  Otherwise,  transportation due to a re-assignment related to discipline (unless transportation is required per an IEP) will not be provided.

• If a re-assignment has a possible end date, please call our office first, at least three weeks before the new semester starts, to see if they are eligible to return to their home campus.

• Any Canyon Valley student who is seen by the DHO also needs approval before changing schools. 

A reassignment is not the same as an expulsion.

An expulsion is the permanent withdrawal of the privilege of attending any GPS school.
