The BEST place to check out online books to read and even reserve copies that are checked out.

You MUST have a library card from the Maricopa County or Mesa Public library to log in.

If you go to Search, then Advanced Search you can find books by ATOS level which is AR levels

The SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s Daytime Emmy®-nominated and award-winning children’s literacy website. Storyline Online®, streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations.

Online Learning

Starfall began as a service to help kids learn to read and has expanded to include language arts and mathematics for preschool through third grade. Starfall’s emphasis on phonemic awareness, systematic sequential phonics, and common sight words in conjunction with audiovisual interactivity has proven effective in teaching emergent readers. Starfall activities are research-based and align with Individual and Common Core State Standards in English language arts and mathematics.

Starfall is free with no ads. They do offer a low cost membership that expands learning.

With the help of friendly monsters, playful design and out-of-this-world storytelling, working with leading academics to create beautifully crafted games kids love to play.

National Geographic Kids

Kids have questions and National Geographic has the answers all in a kid friendly website.
