Accelerated Reader
Augusta Ranch Elementary uses the Renaissance Accelerated Reading Program to promote independent reading. Students choose books in their reading level and after reading, take a multiple choice test to assess their comprehension. Levels and goals are set by the classroom teacher. See the picture to the left for levels and color dots supported in the Augusta Ranch Library.
AR BookFind
Books at home may also be supported by the AR program. To check if your books have an AR test, look them up at www.arbookfind.com
AR Home Connect
Track your student's progress towards their goal each quarter by using AR Home Connect. You will need a login and password for your student. You can contact either your student's classroom teacher or the library staff for the Home Connect letter.
