5th Grade

In 5th grade Tech Lab, students take the typing muscle memory they have gained and make big gains with their typing speed, many reaching 30-40 WPM! Students again update and add to their Digital Portfolios that are emailed to parents through creating their Google Sites. In 5th grade, students have the opportunity to create digital media that will be shared with their peers and community through Tigerteria TVs and social media via our class X/Instagram/Facebook pages! These typically highlight things going on in the district for activities and athletics, as well as big events in our building, and highlight their peers with Leader of the Week media!  In addition, 5th grade students learn to do some video production and editing with WeVideo, and make interactive coding projects!
