Grading

Band is graded based on the following categories: Lesson Attendance, Performances, Respect, Playing Assessments, and Reflections.  Lesson Attendance and Performances are graded based mostly on attendance and fall under the responsibility standard.  Respect is obviously graded via the respect standard.  Reflections generally occur after performances.  Playing Assessments are graded based on various music content standards.  The playing assessment schedule is below.  All grades use the 3-2-1 scoring system that other classes use.
