Bucchi Francesco - Univerisity of Pisa
Francesco Bucchi has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the University of Pisa since 2021. In 2014, he obtained a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pisa, following a three-month visiting period at the Elahinia Lab, University of Toledo, USA.Since 2019, he has been involved in the ESA-funded TOPDESS project (Two-phase Passive Thermal Devices for Deployable Space Systems), which aims to develop thermal devices for passive deployable space systems actuated by Nitinol shape memory alloys.
Fortini Annalisa - University of Ferrara
Annalisa Fortini is an Associate Professor at the Department of Metallurgical Engineering of the University of Ferrara and a member of the “Aldo Daccò” Corrosion and Metallurgy Research Center. In 2016, she obtained a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from the University of Ferrara with a dissertation entitled “Functional Characterization of Thermally Activated Shape Memory Alloys for Innovative Adaptive Structures.”

Felice Pecoraro has been a Full Professor at the Department of Surgical, Oncological and Oral Sciences of the University of Palermo since 2021. He is a founding partner of the innovative start-up Advanced Medical Engineering Devices Srl (AMED S.r.l.), established in 2018.In 2019, the project entitled “Patient-Specific Device for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) with Additive Manufacturing (AM)” was funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Health under the InnoStars Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS).
